Youth Cricket at TCC

We are delighted to be running this national programme again in 2024! Our All Stars section allows applicants from both boys and girls, to have a great first experience of cricket. For more information, CLICK HERE.

Our Colts section provides T20 opportunities for our U17-19 players, in addition to their longer form matches on Saturday's for our Senior teams. Our Colts train with our Senior Men on Thursday nights and are encouraged to further develop their skills by training with players they'll be playing with on a Saturday match day.

The youth section will be pushing ahead this year after the strong performances in both age groups last year, taking part in the B&D and the GYCL performance leagues. 

Our U11's is our biggest section and is viewed as a vital part of our pathway. U11 level is the area we believe we can really develop our boys and girls into outstanding young cricketers that will have long careers at TCC and potentially higher levels than that. The U11's train on a Friday night at TCC and they play in friendly and competitive matches within the B&D and the GYCL.

Our U11 Girls is our biggest growth area and we are starting to see some county recognition for some of our girls. We now have 3 Women's teams so there is clear progression for the U11 Girls. The squad train on a Tuesday night alongside the Women. They play in friendly and competitive matches within the B&D and the GYCL. We are open to new players of all abilities so feel free to get in touch!

Our U9's is a combination of boys and girls that have played since the U6's, but also children who are new to the game of cricket. Friday night's are a hive of activity at TCC and are a central hub of development for our U9's. They play in friendly matches in the B&D area.

The Friday night cricket extravaganza at TCC, with hundreds of children covering the outfield. At this stage there is a real emphasis on having fun and batting and bowling as much as possible. Our army of qualified volunteer coaches are on hand to provide an action-packed night of fun at the Ship, whilst parents make use of the bar offering!
