Café

Our Cafe is currently closed while we seek someone to run the operation. If you have experience leading a Cafe/kitchen then please get in touch with us: contact@thornburycc.com. This is a paid, full-time role.

Our Cafe opened in April 2021 and has been a great success in the local area! For the Alveston community, it has provided a social hub for people to come to the Ship Field and enjoy some food & drink. In the summer it is open all day Sunday - Friday, before shutting to allow the bar to open in the evening. On a Saturday, the Cafe is open 9am-12pm before the bar opens at midday to provide supporters with refreshments throughout the Men's 1st XI/2nd XI home fixtures.

2021 was a teething process for the Cafe, however moving into 2022 we are well placed to ensure that it can have an even greater impact on both the cricket club and the wider community. For regular updates from the Cafe, click on the button below to find us on Facebook!

Bar

Our bar underwent a complete facelift in the spring of 2021, which saw it's first significant changes in decades! It's modern look has given a new fresh feel to the club, which came in time for the opening of the Cafe. The bar is open alongside the cafe and runs through til the end of the night. Our bar is managed by bar chairman Alex Gwinnell, who works tirelessly to ensure the bar functions all year round.

Thornbury Cricket Club is the place to be to watch live sport. We have Sky Sports & BT Sport and we televise international & domestic Cricket, Football and Rugby matches throughout the year. We can facilitate other live sport upon request, too.

For any private booking enquiries, please contact Harry Hawkins on 07512555513.
