Thornbury Cricket Club is an inclusive club - we welcome anyone to join our club. We are always looking out for new players to join us, regardless of your age or gender. We are sure to have playing opportunities to cater for your level of experience. Thornbury Cricket Club is welcoming new players ahead of the 2024 season, across all three of our sections - Senior, Women and Youth.  Our mission is to give all players access to quality coaching, and the opportunity to improve their cricket skills in a friendly environment.


About our sections:

  • Four Men's sides, ranging from the 1st team playing in West of England Premier League, to the social midweek team.

  • Two Women's softball teams, and one hardball side

  • Over ten Youth sides supporting players from 7 through to 19

Notable current players:

  • Chris Dent, Gloucestershire opening batsman and former captain

  • Jack Taylor, Gloucestershire all rounder and current white-ball captain

  • Robbie O'Donnell, Auckland Aces captain and TCC overseas player (2023, 2024)

It's not just players we are looking for, as our club expands we need more people to help out with bar work, coaching, administration, grounds work and much more. If you want to join a special club that is on the rise, then please contact Jo Littlejohn on 07970 234499. Our aim is to provide cricketing and social opportunities for the local community and we have some massive plans in place in order to achieve our goals. You'll want to be a part of it.
