Our Men's Cricket section continues to grow year on year and for the 2023 season, we will again have 5 Saturday teams. Winter nets start in February and pre-season fixtures run throughout April. The 2023 league season begins on May 6th and culminates on September 2nd. Our 1st/2nd XI will be entering different Sunday tournaments, whilst there will be social cricket opportunities for players in the 3rds, 4ths and 5ths on midweek evenings and Sunday's too.
Our Men train on Thursday evening's throughout the summer at the Ship Field and are trained by head coach, Stu Houghton. For more information, please contact Simon Weeks on 07530761648.

2022 position: B&D Division 13 - 3rd place
Sunday / Midweek Cricket
Our 1st XI enter the WEPL T20 and County Cup competition, with fixtures taking place on Sunday's. In 2021, we reached finals day of the WEPL T20.
In 2022, we entered a side into the B&D midweek T20 league, which is for players at 2nd XI/3rd XI level. There is an emphasis on giving our more senior players further playing opportunities, which has been extremely successful so far.
We also enter the Bateman Trophy, which is a midweek knockout competition for our 3rd & 4th XI players.
To track player availability for both training and matches, we use the Pitchero Club App.
You can download the app here and please select Thornbury Cricket Club as your chosen club.
It is really important that you log either your own, or your child's, availability as soon as possible, so that the Men's Cricket Chair, Coaches and Captains can start to plan accordingly.
Please note: the Thornbury Cricket Club Pitchero website is our OLD site and it's only function now is to log player availability. All other site functions will be done through this website.
